What's New?

February 15, 09

With the new disc done, plans are finalized for the release show, March 28 3009.

I will also likely be playing some small promo gigs prior to that date.  A song or two before the Quebe Sisters Band plays on

march 26/09 at the Carstairs community center.  I am also going to the rock 104 studio to play some live tracks on the morning

of Friday March 27.

Following the release show, I will also be performing at the Didsbury Trade Show in early April

The new disc is done.  YES DONE!  I will be receiving the new batch from the manufacturer this week!

All 10 tracks!  It's a BEAUTY!  The last track to be completed was "Smokin Beaver Yee Haw mix"  It's a got a more country/rockabilly

feel than the original did.  One take live at Kitchen radio Studio, and it's all good

The Valleau Boys have come through  for me again!

The new disc is 9 tracks done.  Only one to go.  For that matter, the 9 completed tracks are on a limited addition disc already!

I printed a few to have at the recent Mountain View Music Festival!  It was a great time.  Members of The Polyjesters did a great job of backing me up for a

well received performance.  I did three tracks from the new disc, and of course "Smoking Beaver".

5 songs for the new project are completed.  Again, great efforts have been made by the Valleau's.  I have test marketed them on a number of people,

and the clear consensus seems to be that the new songs are step forward in both writing and production, from the "Smoking Beaver" album.

It's a more real presentation of the songs with me playing them.

I

I'm not positive if this is a good review or not.  I'll let you guys decide!

Hopefully I'll have more to post, as we are full steam ahead, trying to get the disc done for the festival.

Less than  a month to go, so we'll see!

Cheers

Big strides have been made on the disc in recent weeks!  I'm all smiles as a result.  Special thanks to Sheldon and Jason for doing such a bangup job!

Got some positive feedback from members of the Dustin Bentall outfit also.  Was fun  to take them for a ride in the drag car.  Fun had by all.

April 20, 08

The CD has been further delayed, due to some scheduling conflicts.  Of course this happens, but I wish it would happen less often.

On the positive side, CD sales are through the roof in the Olds area.  An unprecedented spike from what they were in the past few months.

Great to see!  I love Olds, and all of Mountainview County!

On the home front, I just finished installing a hot tub in the yard, so progress on the CD could be further delayed, due to increased time spent doing nothing.

March 3, 08

I've been doing some shows with Jason Valleau and Sheldon Valleau of the Polyjesters.

These guys are working with me on the CD.  It's great to play with them.

Work is progressing on the disc.  The show at the end of the month will likely interfere

with the completion of the disc, but still hoping for a completion date near then end of march, or early in April.

Keep checking in

November 12/07

I will be working on the new disc, starting this Friday night! November 16/07.

 At the www.kitchenradio.ca studio.
